Jennifer Port - harpist & Singer
Jennifer Port is an award winning harpist & singer and graduated with a Honours Degree from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She has recently performed for The King and comedian Rory Bremner, but has also been booked by celebrities and famous persons including Donald Trump and Madonna!
With her extensive performing experience, Jennifer can add a special atmosphere to your wedding with beautiful harp playing and singing.
Jennifer has performed at some notable weddings, including that of Madonna & Guy Ritchie at Skibo Castle, and ‘Simply Red’ Mick Hucknall & Gabriella Wesberry at Forter Castle.
Jennifer will play as guests take their seats, play as bride walks down the aisle, accompany hymns (if required), sing and play during signing of the register then for the couple and their guests’ exit.
Then as an alternative, or add-on, Jennifer can play during the drinks reception while the couple are having photos taken. She plays background music while guests mingle, until everyone is called to dinner.
Jennifer has her own microphones and an amplifier, so if you’re getting married outside, or in a big venue, she will boost the sound. Jennifer’s amp is battery powered, so doesn’t need any electricity.
